ANNOUNCEMENT - We are extremely excited to announce our new partnership with Baumann Brothers and their men grooming products; Lombard.
Their story starts back in 2010 when Alan Baumann was graduating SOI (School of Infantry) at Camp Pendleton. The weekend before graduation he was given 48hr of libo.
Of course after living out of a wall locker for so long he had no products to spruce up and look sharp with for his time off. That’s when his buddy, Sanchez, says, “use this” and throws a bottle of lotion at Alan. “It holds, adds volume, and smells great!” “No way,” he thought. It will probably fall apart in an hour; but no, when it dries it holds.
Alan told his brother (Mike) about it and he gave me the same puzzled look. “Just try it,” he told him, he did and they both have been using lotion in their hair ever since.
Testing different products, figuring out what works best, and telling everyone who asks about what they use. They all give them the same puzzled look. After explaining it to them they usually agree, “Yea, makes sense”.
Now, the Baumann Brothers have designed their own hair lotion formulated for health, hold, and style. It’s no longer just a lotion. The Brothers have created Hair Lotion for Men!+
The Brothers, themselves are passionate, sophisticated, and fun-loving people who, rather than waiting for someone else to come up with a satisfying product, stepped up and kicked off more than just a company that sells products.
The Baumann Brothers are here to create a landmark in the men’s grooming industry with their world-class services; the Brothers are on a mission to guide men to be the individual they want to be. They are dedicated to the company they’ve built, the customers they are serving, and the community they are uniting.
With their solid line of products and services, Baumann Brothers are on the journey to be the leading men’s salon brand whom you can trust. On whom every man can count on for the latest and best in hair, shave, and styling.
The Bauman Brother’s Company is and always will be serving in the best interests of men’s care and grooming to enhance their style, fashion and most importantly, their confidence! The family comes from a restaurant background. Jeremy would explain that his mom worked in the food industry most of her life. On the weekends, dad and brothers would cook BBQ at her restaurant, until the family got tired of working for others.
“I was living in Stephenville and had just quit my job and was looking for my next venture when mom called and asked if I wanted to move back home and start a restaurant with them. I guess the rest is kind of history,” Jeremy laughed.
The Young family is close. However, like all families nothing comes easy, mostly when working together. “Working with family is definitely a challenge, especially in the BBQ business because of the long hours. Some days are better than others, but I always say that it's better than working for someone else.”
One word to describe the Young family, resilient. “My tips for small business owners would be to never give up no matter how hard it seems or how bleak the outlook is, there will always be better days. Also, never be afraid to fail. It's never a failure if you come out of it having learned something.” Jeremy stays positive and humble as his outlook for the rest of the year is pretty simple. “Our plans are to keep serving the same quality BBQ and giving the best customer service that we can.”
Central Texas has been their backbone and their style of BBQ, so why mess with a good thing.
If you’re looking for good hometown BBQ, make sure to stop in and say hi. Their new address is 504 N Key Ave, Lampasas, TX. CLICK ON Image for LINK to Young's BBQ & More Facebook page.
